Come join us for a night of community and self-discovery through the practice of sacred journaling!



Journaling. It's the Holy Grail of self-help initiatives. We don't get very far in a discussion of wellness without a mention of keeping a journal, but what happens when we sit down in front of a book full of blank pages?

Is it really as easy as "just write whatever comes to mind?" What if you run out of things to say? And should you keep a gratitude journal? A food journal? A dream journal? What the heck is a sacred journal? How many different notebooks do I need for all this?

Join us for a journey into Sacred Journaling that will take the mystery out of the process, so you can focus on the mysteries of your soul.

There's a sacred connection between Spirit and Word, and when we're not distracted by the how and where and what if, journaling can take us to that meeting place. I hope you'll join us there!

Francis of Assisi was not your typical 13th-century -- or any century -- guy. He lived in a world plagued by war and corruption in religion and politics (sound familiar?) and responded to it with a Prayer for Peace as revolutionary and relevant today as it was 700 years ago.

His prayer is an invitation to every person of good will--regardless of religious background--to build bridges of peace through radical acts of love and mercy and connection.

In this workshop on Francis' Prayer for Peace, we'll learn a little about Francis, the rebel poet who walked away from a life of luxury to revel in the riches of creation as a dwelling place of the Divine. We'll dive into the meaning behind each verse of his prayer, and we'll talk about how we can live their message in our lives and our world, so in need of the transformative power of radical love.



Our workshop will conclude with a meditation around the fire pit (weather permitting) and a little gift for each participant.
